About O'Toole's

"He knew that someday he would re-establish and carry on the family legacy..."

Michael O'Toole's was founded by Craig Dye and Jefrey Tincher who have a long history together. Craig as a District Manager and Jeffrey as a District Chef for the same restaurant group for 14 years.

Craig has had the opportunity to work in many different areas of the hospitality industry. His hard work in every aspect of the business has provided him with the opportunity to be well rounded and very knowledge in the restaurant business.

After receiving his degree in the culinary arts, Jeffrey focused his attention on the restaurant and banquet business. His efforts afforded him the title of Executive Chef and later Regional Chef of multiple location restaurant.

Michael O'Toole was the great grandfather of Craig Dye and when his family showed him a photograph of his great grandfather in front of his restaurant at the turn of the century, he knew that someday he would re-establish and carry on the family legacy. Michael established his restaurant in 1898 in a small town in Ohio and was a distinguished local businessman who put an emphasis on customer service. Michael's original restaurant was called "Mike Toole's Place". As an Irishman at the turn of the century he would have been viewed as more of a laborer than a business owner. Therefore, the Irish part of his name was dropped to prevent any prejudice from getting in the way of his success. This restaurant is dedicated to Michael O'Toole and 112 years later his full name is finally on the building.
